Time for a drink recipe ! – The Bissap juice

This juice is simply delicious, and I had to share with you this very easy recipe that will make you travel!
Bissap is a sweet drink, native to West Africa, made from hibiscus, which is consumed especially during parties and big family meals!
For 1 liter of bissap, you will need:
1 cup of dry hibiscus flower
1 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of strawberry flavouring
A few mint leaves
1,5 l of water
Preparation
1. Wash the flowers and put them in a saucepan with the water and bring to a boil for 35 minutes.
2. After 25 minutes of infusion, remove from heat and add the mint leaves. Then let cool completely.
3. Pour the liquid into a strainer to separate the flowers from the juice.
4. Add the sugar to the juice along with the strawberry flavoring. Put in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
Drink it very cold, enjoy!
