Hey guys!

As you know (or not lol), Spain is a country very rich in culture that deserves the detour by visiting several of its beautiful cities! For this time, I will voluntarily omit Barcelona and Madrid because these cities are already extremely well known so I would like to present you other places.

1. Sevilla

To visit Sevilla is to discover the capital of Andalusia in Spain. A bright, lively and exciting city where several identities and influences meet: Roman, Visigoth, Arab, Spanish,...

A wonderful Andalusian city with exceptional places to visit such as the Alcazar and its gardens, the cathedral where the tomb of Christopher Columbus is located, and the beautiful Plaza de España.

Seville has one of the largest and best preserved historical centers in Europe and is one of the richest cities in Europe.

2. Valence

Nice city near the sea. The Barrio del Carmen and the Plaza de la Virgen are a must-see, and don't miss the impressive City of Arts and Sciences, which can be reached through the park built in the old bed of the River Turia.

Many tourists visit Valencia to enjoy the sun and swimming thanks to the various water sports that can be practiced, such as jetskiing. There are also the beautiful urban beaches of Malvarrosa and Cabanyal, next to the sea promenade, which offers a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment.

Add Valencia to your list of places to visit!

3. Toledo

Former capital of Spain until the middle of the 15th century, Toledo has many buildings and works of art thanks to its past that saw the mixing of several cultures during five centuries, and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This old city, Visigothic capital, later became the city of the three religions and the great center of the school of translators. This city has inspired many artists, such as the painters El Greco and Ignacio Zuloaga.

There are many museums in Toledo that are worth a visit: the Visigothic Museum, the Victorio Macho House Museum, the El Greco House Museum and many others.

There are also two historical bridges in Toledo: the San Martín bridge and the Alcantara bridge.

This city is worth visiting because of its immeasurable historical wealth.

4. Granada

Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, Granada is home to the famous Alhambra, an incredibly well-preserved medieval palace that is the most visited tourist site in Spain.

Don't miss: the view from the San Nicolás viewpoint, the Sacromonte, the Albaicin neighborhood, the Carmen de los Martires garden and many more!

The list of things to do there is quite long so yes, this is a city that can make your day!

5. Cordoba

Another city in Andalusia, I know!

But this region is full of great cities that are really worth it, so here is another one.

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and at the same time enjoy a small, quiet city, Cordoba is a good compromise.

Once one of the largest Roman cities in Spain, Córdoba is a beautiful small city known mainly for the mosque-cathedral La Mezquita, one of the most beautiful monuments in the country.

Located in Andalusia, Córdoba has very nice little streets and a restored Roman bridge where you can walk in the evening, along the Guadalquivir River.

Córdoba is a human-sized city that can be visited mainly on foot, if you really can't stay long, I reassure you, it is a city that can be visited in less than two days!
