I present you 6 dishes that I already had the opportunity to taste at least once. Nothing crazy but I particularly liked them so I share them with you. No need to travel when you can already do it by tasting dishes from all over the world ;) !
Tandoori chicken (India)
Tandoori is a mix of spices that comes in the form of a fine red-brown powder. This mixture, often used in Indian cuisine, is usually composed of: chili, garlic, coriander, cumin, thyme, cinnamon, pepper, etc..

Tandoori usually flavors meat and is always added to preparations before cooking.
Traditionally, it is mixed with yogurt and lemon juice to make a marinade to flavor chicken or fish.
It can also contain fennel, fenugreek, ginger, ground mustard seeds or paprika.
Pierogi (Poland)
Pierogis are a kind of Polish raviolis.

They are traditionally filled with potatoes and cottage cheese, meat, cabbage and mushrooms or vegetables!
This dish is a delight!
Pho (Vietnam)
This noodle soup from northern Vietnam is eaten throughout the day, although it was originally breakfast.

The base of the recipe is a broth made by cooking beef bones, ginger, nước mắm (obviously!), coriander, anise, spices, and sometimes cloves for days. To finish it off we add beef strips and rice noodles!
The thieb (Senegal)
The thieb is a very famous family dish in Senegal or even in other West African countries.

It is part of the cultural heritage of the country since it is THE national dish. It is a delicious dish based on broken rice, tomato sauce, vegetables and fish, it is called thieboudiène (= "rice with fish" in Wolof) or with meat: thiebouyappe.
My aunt has already prepared it during family meals, it’s delicious!
It is so good that in general, we want to refill a second plate!
Moussaka (Greece)
Moussaka is a traditional dish from the Balkans and the Middle East, but most often associated with Greece or Turkey, made with grilled eggplant, onions and tomatoes. The famous Greek version also contains minced mutton.

Moussaka, delicious and comforting... This dish is a pure delight for all those who love tasty and authentic gratins. Minced meat (lamb or beef), eggplant, tomatoes, béchamel sauce...
Vegetable quiche (France)
Quiche is a savory pie filled with eggs beaten in cream. It has known various variants since the Middle Ages.

You may know the quiche Lorraine, a very popular French specialty! The advantage of this dish is that you can add absolutely ANYTHING you want to it, but the vegetable quiche is really delicious!
