I share with you 6 must-see places if you are in Barcelona!

1. Parc Güell

If you're visiting Barcelona, why not take a walk in Parc Güell, one of Gaudí's greatest achievements and a must-see in the Catalan capital. With the Collserola hills in the background, Gaudí designed this architecturally rich park!

As you follow the steep path and gain height, the panoramic views that await you at the top are breathtaking!

As with many other attractions to visit in Barcelona, it is wise to buy tickets in advance, as the park only allows 400 visitors per half hour.

2. Sagrada Familia

Do you honestly think I was going to suggest must-see places without mentioning the Sagrada Familia?

Good news! The completion of the Sagrada Familia is announced for 2027, 150 years after its construction in 1882 (yes, you read that right).

The Sagrada Familia is the most famous work of the Catalan architect Gaudí, who shaped the architectural landscape of Barcelona until his death in 1926. It is without a doubt the most visited monument in Barcelona!

You will immediately understand why when you arrive in front of the Basilica: the building is impressive, with all its Catholic details and references!

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the basilica is temporarily closed to the public but as soon as it opens again don't wait any longer and buy your tickets!

3. La Rambla

La Rambla, a pedestrian boulevard often crowded with people! Very popular, La Rambla is very animated by street artists in particular: you will not be bored.

It is the pedestrian walkway that connects the port of Barcelona to the Plaça de Catalunya.

You will also find the famous La Boqueria market!

4. Montjuïc

If you're visiting Barcelona, Montjuic Hill is the perfect place for a green walk with great views of the city and the open sea.

It does require a bit of effort to get there, though, which has the advantage of being less populated by tourists. But don't let that deter you!

There is more to this place than just the hill, there are many surprises and places to discover: Montjuic Castle, which has the advantage of offering a breathtaking view of the Barcelona coastline, the Barcelona Botanical Garden, The Miramar Gardens and their magnificent panorama of the entire city, or The Gardens of the Greek Theatre and The Mossèn Costa i Llobera Gardens, with a Californian theme.

5. La Pedrera

Another villa built by Gaudí located on Passeig de Gracia is the Casa Milà, nicknamed "La Pedrera".

On 5 floors and 4,500 m², you can discover all of Gaudi's architectural genius and immerse yourself in his very special world.

The view of Barcelona from the roof is just amazing !

6. La Barceloneta

The famous seaside resort of Barcelona has everything to please: the beach, animations and conviviality. Barceloneta is a really nice neighborhood!

It is also a neighborhood known for its restaurants that serve fresh seafood and fish. If you come to visit Barcelona and find yourself in this neighborhood, head to the Port Vell, which is completely renovated or the Port of Barcelona where you can visit the Aquarium, and even take the cable car that will take you to the top of Monjuïc!

Obviously, the list is still very long but if I told you everything, it would take hours! But don't worry, I'll surely do a part 2!

Stay tuned!
