5 reasons to go to Rome once in your life!

Rome is a must-see city, maybe too much so, but that's because there are good reasons to go there! And I'm living proof that it's a great city !

1. You will find there one of the 7 wonders of the world: the Colosseum

Yes! If you go to Rome, you'll definitely want to visit the Colosseum, one of the 7 wonders of the world and the only one in Europe! There, you'll feel like a spectator watching the gladiatorial fights and the death sentences. Awesome, isn't it?

2. In Rome is the seat of the Catholic Church: the Vatican

A true state within a state, the Vatican is not only reserved for people of the Christian religion. A majestic building and a must-see in the city, it also tells the history of Rome and is worth a visit for its breathtaking architecture, and of course the Sistine Chapel!

3. The capital of the country of pasta and pizza!

One of the many reasons why Rome is a must-see city is its gastronomy!

For meals, you are spoilt for choice, as the typical dishes are so delicious: pasta with cheese and pepper or fresh giant pizza by the slice...

4. The best Italian ice cream

Have you ever tasted Italian ice cream? My favorite is simply the strawberry one. Rome has the best Italian ice cream! I find the ice creams from the Fatamorgana ice cream shop particularly delicious!

5. If you are a fan of luxury shopping, this is the city for you!

The Piazza di Spagna is a real tourist nest, but it is also very pleasant, with its 136 steps where you can sit and watch the city come alive, and its many luxury stores! Be careful with your wallet, you could easily fall for it.

Of course, this top of reasons to go there is not exhaustive but these are activities that I did and I loved. I hope that if you go there, you will have a really cool experience!
